NAIDOC WEEK 2020

A CELEBRATION OF INDIGENOUS ARTISTS

ArtSpace Wonthaggi
November 3-December 13

We acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the Bunurong / Boonwurrung people and pay respects to their elders past, present and emerging and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in our community today.

Wominjeka.

Welcome to the virtual exhibition of the Bass Coast/South Gippsland Reconciliation Group seventh annual NAIDOC WEEK celebration of Indigenous artists. The Reconciliation Group would like to thank Blue Vapours Creative Studios for designing and sponsoring the virtual exhibition. What an exciting and creative dimension the virtual exhibition adds to this very popular NAIDOC WEEK annual event.

I would also like to thank the Wonthaggi ArtSpace for their generous offer to host our NAIDOC WEEK celebration of Indigenous artists this year when our annual booking at the Inverloch Hub was cancelled due to the Covid shutdown. You will be made very welcome when you visit the Wonthaggi ArtSpace gallery to view the art works in situ.
