I’m Daisy May Ingamells Gawirra. I’m a proud 10 year old Wirangu adopted into Wagilak girl. I learnt to paint from my Mari’mu and Mair (adopted grandfather) (maternal grandmother) Mari’mu uses white, black, ochre and red, with grass paint brushes. Mair uses water colour and posca texters. I paint about myself, my dreamings, loves, wild live and inspiration I’ve seen. I especially love to paint and draw about animals. I love to make things and hang out with animals. I lived in Gapwyiak for 2 years when I was 3 and left when I was 5.
