NAIDOC Week Indigenous Art Exhibition 2025

Mali Farnell

Mali Farnell is a fibre and assemblage artist who enjoys playing with natural fibres and forms – constructing, sculpting, contrasting, texturing embellishing. From 2005 to 2010 Mali Design Studio was the hub of activity for creating, teaching and exhibiting fibre arts on Wurrunjeri/Bunurong land (the Dandenong Ranges). The “Worlds Collide” collection was created during my time of embracing what it means to be Aboriginal.
